Big Brother meets security guard with this device as it monitors when you’re leaving a job site and makes sure you have all the tools you brought with you.

In the kit you get 50 tags that can be attached to any piece of your equipment, a scanner, two antennas and software for creating a database of your expensive tool gear.

Then after a hard days graft you start to forget things and start rushing around so you don’t hit the traffic or you need to get back to watch the match the last thing you want is to get home after driving 100 miles only to find you have left a piece of kit on the site.

This is where the “Tool Tag” is priceless as it checks you have all your tools in the van for you. When you get in the van after a hard day on the job, the Tool Link scans your van to make sure you have packed everything up, and provides a notice via Ford’s in-dash computer.
